In this short commentary, I provide reflections on the proposed future directions raised in the Target paper, including gathering more extensive data, applying a whole systems approach, the dual mode approach to theory, avoiding unpleasant feelings in physical activity, conceiving interventions that promote flexibility, and capitalising on technology to integrate and achieve these future directions.
